Honorary Life Membership is the highest recognition that LOFOB may bestow upon an individual.
It is awarded to persons who have rendered exceptional service or made an outstanding contribution to LOFOB, its mission and the blind and visually impaired community.
Honorary Life Membership reflects the organisation's gratitude and recognises individuals whose dedication, leadership and commitment have left a lasting legacy.
Who May be Awarded Honorary Life Membership
Honorary Life Membership may be conferred upon individuals who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to the vision, mission and objectives of LOFOB.
Honorary Life Membership is awarded in accordance with the Constitution and any applicable policies of LOFOB.

Honorary Life Members
Honorary Life Members become part of the enduring legacy of LOFOB.
Where provided for in the Constitution, Honorary Life Members may:
• Receive invitations to LOFOB events and ceremonies.
• Attend the Annual General Meeting.
• Participate in discussions where appropriate.
• Continue to serve as ambassadors for LOFOB.
• Share in the organisation's journey towards its future.
Any voting rights or governance responsibilities shall be determined by the Constitution.
